Four postcard photographs of the the English violinist, a student of Elgar, Wilhelmj and Ševčík before embarking on a major international four-decade career.  She was the first to perform Vaughan Williams' "The Lark Ascending," and the work was dedicated to her.  Hall is shown with her violin in all four photographs, two of which are different croppings of the same image.  In very fine condition.  3.25 x 5.25 inches (8.2 x 13.3 cm.).
